Political Philosophy for Susan M. (Stetson) Siegel
Candidate for |

|
In local elections, what matters is who's the best person for the job, not the party line that the person is running on. There's no Republican or Democratic way to plow a street, collect garbage or run a recreation program. I'm a Democrat who's running as a Republican. My Democratic opponent was a Republican before he decided to run for supervisor in 2005. I'm a person of action. And seeing the need for change in my community, I decided to act on my life long commitment to good government. I know what needs to be done to modernize our antiquated and haphazard management systems. Yorktown residents deserve a more cost efficient and accountable town government. And I have the skills, experience and knowledge of local government to make that happen. |
