1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)

As a long time resident of the area, current resident of Alta Vista Ave and business owner in Cheviot I have a stake in this community for my family's future and well-being. I have been a leader in the U.S. Navy, a leader in church and with CWCA.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

1) Ensure that other members of council and the administration of the city know the objections of my neighbors to spending the money unwisely recently given to their trust in the passed levy.
2) Work with the Police Department to get the DARE program back into our community. Allow the Police Officers to do their jobs to the fullest extent in order to ensure a safer community.
3) Work with the city's administration to ensure that residents do not have to deal with nuisances in their neighborhood. Work with the new Economic Developer to revitalize the business district.

3. What two actions would you promote to enhance city revenue or decrease city expenditures in order to balance the city budget, given the current economic conditions? (100 word limit)

1) Work closely with the new Economic Developer to revitalize the business district and bring in new businesses where others have left buildings vacant.
2) Lobby the other members of council to keep frivolous spending from happening.

4. What steps should the local government take to ensure that the quality of rental property meets minimum legal standards? (100 word limit)

Enact legislation that governs a minimum standard to be held to by the property owner and renters. Work with the Administration to allow for strict ENFORCEMENT of the legislation.
