PTA President Parent Teacher Association President at 3 different schools between 1998 and 2007. Scheduled and coordinated activities for parental involvement and student achievement. Focal for parental involvement in employment and placement decisions affecting pupil and school personnel.

Mount Vernon City School District, Mount Vernon, NY November, 2007 - June, 2008 School Board Trustee General oversight and policy establishment of the school district. Responsible for hiring and general financial oversight of the school district. Also oversaw the day-to-day operations of the school district.

Ben Gordon & Save Our Sports (S.O.S.) Committee Member (2008-2009) Raised funds for after-school sports through different activities.

Married, mother of 5 children aged 15 - 20 years old. All have went or are enrolled in the public schools in the Mount Vernon School District.

Our family has lived in the School District for over 25 years.
