As your first ever Sheriff-Coroner for Marin County I will bring a fresh and balanced perspective to these newly combined offices. I have a solid record for delivering a balanced budget every year since I took office. I am also the only department head in county government who has not increased staff levels over the past 35 years. I have a wide reputation for integrity, fairness and transparency within my department and one of constant availability to my staff, allied agencies and the public whom I serve.
