Scott Steiner has been a deputy district attorney in the Orange County DA's Office since 1999. He served in the Special Prosecutions Unit prosecuting all hate crimes in Orange County for nearly three years before being promoted to the hardcore Gang Unit. Scott received his bachelor's degree from UCI and his law degree from UC Hastings, and received a Masters Degree in Law from Chapman University Law School.
Scott also serves on the Planning Commission of the City of Orange and works as an adjunct professor of California Evidence at Chapman Law School. Scott serves on the Mock Trial committee of the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County, helping coordinate the county-wide high school mock trial competition held each year. CRF honored Scott as volunteer of the year in 2005-06. He lives in Orange with his wife and daughter.
