Candidate for
Controller; Green Party

I was born in Los Angeles in the 1960's. I have lived in Los Angeles County all of my life. Michael, my partner of 11 years, and I are married. We currently reside in Lawndale, the "Heart of the South Bay." We have been members of a Methodist church hand-bell choir for more than 10 years.

I received my bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles. I have worked in the field of general accounting for about 25 years. I have also worked as a public school elementary teacher for two years.

I have served as Treasurer and Assistant to the Treasurer of a moderately large condominium owners' association for a combined total of 13 years. I have prepared a number of budgets and financial plans for not only my own association but also over 20 other homeowner associations. I am currently a Member of the Board of Directors to my community. I have also served as Treasurer to the Green Party Los Angeles County Council.
