Mary has the strength of character, brain power, and business experience to get the job done. Dan Nguyen-Tan, Chico City Council 2002 + 2006 I endorse Mary Flynn for council because she brings the perfect blend of experience and integrity. Her understanding of business and finance, coupled with her ability to work with people from across the political spectrum and truly listen to constituents, enables her to lead the City of Chico in the right direction. Katrina Davis-Woodcox, Former Executive Director of the DCBA It is no secret that I am a big fan of Mary Flynn - and now that my role of Executive Director for the DCBA is quickly coming to an end, I can now personally support Mary publicly without it being misinterpreted as the "voice" of Downtown. Mary is.....well, Mary. She doesn't try to represent herself as anything else. She is honest, engaging, thoughtful and smart. From personal experience, Mary has proven to me that she is truly interested in the future of our community as she takes the time (a lot of time) to understand the issues, educate herself and most importantly - listen to what people have to say. I know that when Mary makes a decision, it comes from a place of knowledge, understanding as well as the desire to do what's right for the community as a WHOLE. On November 2nd I know I will be casting my vote for Mary Flynn - I hope you will as well. Mary has shown herself to be reasoned, fair and thoughtful on the issues of concern to our community. While I do not always agree with her, I believe she carefully considers each issue before the City Council and has the courage to exercise her independent judgment. Mary deserves to be re-elected to the City Council. Maureen Kirk, Butte County Supervisor, District 3, 2006 - present Mary Flynn has been a valuable member of the Chico City Council. She carefully considers the issues and votes the way that is best for Chico. Mary has consistently demonstrated she is an independent thinker who is well versed in economic development and finances. Mary has earned another four years and she definitely has my support. Tod Kimmelshue, Regional Vice President, Farm Bureau Mary Flynn understands the value of our agricultural industry and has a proven record of supporting strong land use which protects farmland. Her decisions to direct development away from prime farmland has insured farmers can operate with minimal conflicts. Mary will continue the fight for strong and sensible planning which preserves our agricultural heritage.
