Public input should always be welcomed and considered at park board.
The Ambrose Board is there to serve the public and not address their own personal agendas. The board should provide leadership to the community while encouraging more community involvement and not just to paint, pick up trash, and answer phones but to be included in decision making. The Board is there to set policy and oversee the budget and not participate in the day to day operations of the district. The Board should be knowledgable about open meeting laws, conflict of interest and ethics training.
