My parents taught me to make sure when you've spent your money that it is worthwhile and you did it for the right reason.

When I was on the LMCHD board I visited the organizations applying for grants and talked with the people. I was instrumental in obtaining funding for the Stoneman Village Center Food Program, as well as the Bay Point Family Center Dental Program. I also helped the Dental Clinic at La Clinica increase the number of dental chairs.
