Candidate for
Council Member; City of Sanger; Council District 4

Dear fellow citizens and friends,

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Adam Sulenta, I am 23 years old and I have lived in Sanger for my whole life. I grew up in Sanger and watched it grow and overcome obstacles, but recently I have seen more obstacles take effect and nothing being done to protect Sanger and its citizens. This is why I am running for City Council District 4.

Growing up in Sanger I was able to attend Madison Elementary School, Washington Academic Middle School, and Sanger High School. While at Sanger High School I was actively involved in the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp. (NJROTC), was promoted to Command Master Chief in 2004-2005, received The American Legion Certificate and Medal, volunteered my time to the Boy Scouts Pack 9/11, received a Certificate of Achievement in Business, was presented a Certificate of Appreciation by Barbara Boxer and received the Valley Regional Occupational Program Certificate of Completion for job entry skills in Microsoft Office 2000.

After graduating from Sanger High School I moved to Napa Valley to attend college at The Culinary Institute of America, but after a few months I decided to pursue my passion for business, I moved back to Sanger, and attended Reedley College. While at Reedley College I was presented with being put on the Deans List, graduating Cum Laude for my outstanding grades and receiving an Associates of Arts in General Education with an Emphasis in Accounting. Following my graduation from Reedley College I transferred to California State University, Fresno where I am still attending. While attending Fresno State I plan to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and afterwards go for my Masters.

I love talking to people and finding out what Sanger can do for its citizens. I look forward to meeting everyone so I can hear your ideas so that we, as a community, can make Sanger a better place to live, grow and thrive. I respectfully trust that the citizens of Sanger will have faith in me and attain that I am worthy of your votes. I will do my very best to make sure to work, serve, support and provide for the people of Sanger so that we can get back to what makes Sanger the best, its "People and Community."
