The city needs to strive to construct a business environment that will create more jobs, increase tax revenue, lower taxes and lower our unemployment rate.
According to TheLedger.com and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of July 2010, Sanger has an astonishing unemployment rate of 25.4% compared to California's unemployment rate of 12.3%. Sanger needs to create a business environment to provide jobs for our citizens instead of outsourcing them to Fresno and Clovis. With a business environment Sanger can lead the way to more jobs, increased tax revenue, lower taxes and lower our embarrassing unemployment rate.
