- American Cancer Society Relay for Life volunteer + co-founded "Christopher's Team" in honor of Christopher Evans, son of Joanne and Scott at the Phillips Ranch Pharmacy. Spent 24 hours at the sites walking and chaperoning youth participants.

- Worked on a conservation plan for the landscaping and green belts of District 5, saving water and money
- Formed the Phillips Ranch Landscape Committee that met with City officials to review the budget for the landscaping fees that Phillips Ranch homeowners pay.
- Worked for traffic safety, getting the crosswalk and stop signs in front of Decker, as well as the stop signs on Old Pomona Road installed.
- Attended all community meetings in Westmont for the Mission 71 project
- As Parks and Recreation Commissioner, helped initiate Veterans Park Soccer Complex
