Barbara Dunsheath: Vigilantly protects tax dollars from waste. Maintained a balanced budget all five years in office. Since 2002, NOCCCD has maximized the $239 million Measure X bond funds into construction or renovation of 22 award winning facilities. Facilities should be used to enhance student success and serve the community. While I have been a trustee, NOCCCD has served nearly 15% more students for less than 5% increased cost while inflation has increased about 10%.

Barbara Dunsheath's important activities include: Her family (husband Jim and three children in college), 23 year Cypress resident, Sunday school teacher, PTA, Girl/Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, Tolerance Museum, Sierra Club, Daughters of Charity, Seal Beach Animal Center, Los Alamitos HS Booster Club, AYSO, Red Cross, League of Women Voters, American Association of University Women, California Historical Society, UCRiverside Parents Association, Phi Kappa Phi.
