This information is provided by the candidate |
This is a letter that you can give to your friends and neighbors to support our candidacy.Dear Parents and Residents of the Lake Elsinore Unified School District, In June of this year, I was appointed by the LEUSD Board of Trustees to fulfill the remaining time of a retiring board members term. I have decided to run for a full four year term on the ballot this November 2. In these difficult economic times, it is hard for me to justify spending money on a campaign when our schools so desperately need the funds. I would like ask you to help me run a `non-campaign' campaign! My goal is that this will be the only "hard copy" campaign literature you will receive from me. I will utilize electronic means of communicating information regarding my philosophy as well as encouraging residents to register and vote. I will run a frugal campaign and will donate the remaining campaign funds to the schools, so that our `non-campaign' campaign will benefit our students. I will encourage supporters to create their own signs if they like. I am grateful for organizations that choose to endorse me, but I will not seek endorsements from other organizations, or give endorsements to other candidates, as I feel that to seek or give endorsements always implies a favor needing to be returned. There are well-qualified individuals running this November. The qualifications that I bring to being a trustee are as follows -
Respectfully, Stan Crippen, Appointed Trustee, Lake Elsinore Unified School District |
