Political Philosophy for Matt Gray
Candidate for |
Matt has moderate political views, and he believes that whatever solution we propose for any problem ought to be the best fit based upon the facts. As a local small business owner, Matt sees how we need to protect jobs, keep our streets safe, prepare our children to enter the workforce, and keep our tax dollars working locally for us in our community. If the voters of Arden Arcade decide to incorporate into a city, then we need a strong City Council to get us started on the right foot. Matt is a moderate and independent thinker who has a proven track record of promoting economic growth and job stability for our region, promoting lower taxes as well as improvements to our quality of life. Matt means business, and jobs are one of his top priorities. As a small business owner, Matt believes businesses are the backbone of our economy. He knows firsthand that jobs provide families with the opportunity to reach the American Dream, and we need to keep people employed in California while also attracting new businesses to our region. Matt is the most qualified candidate in this race and has a proven track record of being an independent thinker who is willing to say "No!" to self-serving special interests. He recognizes he represents the residents first, and must reach across the aisle and represent all people so we can altogether move our community forward. Whether it is business and the economy, children and their education, health care, public safety, water, environment, transportation, or energy, Matt's strong background in public policy means he sees the big picture and will propose realistic lasting solutions to our region's complex challenges. Local residents are facing important issues that impact their daily lives, and we deserve to have elected officials who will stand up for taxpayers and make the tough votes. With Matt as our representative on the Arden Arcade City Council, we know he has the experience to hit the ground running and protect our community. There is no question about where Matt stands on the issues. His specific platform spells it out and he is clear about what you can expect of him as our representative on the Arden Arcade City Council. |
