Candidate for
Council Member; City of Galt

I have been married to my wife Grace for 37 years. She has worked for the City of Galt Police & Finance Departments and the past 18 years at CTA (formerly TRACS, SCT/Link). Our daughter started school in Galt and graduated from Galt High School. Along the way she was on the Galt Gators Swim Team, played soccer, fast pitch softball and has worked at the Gora Aquatic Center. My daughter now works for the City of Lodi.

I have been involved with our City's Planning since 1986, have attended League of California Cities Planning Conferences and a 16 week SACOG sponsored course on 'The Practice of Local Government Planning'. During this period I was also appointed to 4 regional and 4 City Commissions.

My professional background is in Maintenance, Plant Industrial (Facility) Engineering and I have worked for local, national, world-wide and government organizations. Probably my most satisfying job was working on the Northridge Earthquake event supervising 17 FEMA Field Teams that wrote $190 Million in grants for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

I'm also a grandfather; enjoy family, traveling and the outdoors.

I was born in Pennsylvania, but before arriving in Sacramento to attend High School, I had traveled around the world, lived in Indonesia for 2 years and had visited 17 countries along the way. After graduating from Cal Poly, living in Salinas, CA. and then North Canton, Ohio our family finally settled in Galt.
