For the past six years I have proudly served you as a member of the West Valley-Mission Community College Board of Trustees. During that period, I have always supported policies that I believe are in the best academic and financial interests of our students.

I am passionately committed to our colleges' effort to achieve our major goals:

• we must continue to offer a wide variety of courses that meet the needs of all our students and that our faculty, staff, and counselors continue to assist the students in the successful completion of those courses.
• preparing students for transfer to colleges and universities
• preparing students to enter the workforce, and
• assisting the unemployed to gain new career skills
