Carlsbad is a leader in the country in fiscal conservatisim and fiscal prudence. Carlsbad has a cash reserve that is paramount to its credit rating and ability to withstand a major crisis without losing its credit worthyness.

I am a staunch fiscal conservative who will manage Carlsbad's financial assets in a similar fashion. With the current low interest rate environment I will maintain that short-term focus.

I have been in Carlsbad 28 years and plan to be here for the rest of my life. I will maintain all of Carlsbad's assets with sustainability in mind.
