My Ballot StatementIt has been my distinct privilege to live in Glendora for 50 years, and to serve as a member of the Glendora Unified School District Board of Education for 12 years. During this span of service I have worked with excellent Superintendents, staffs, hard working principals, support teams, and talented, dedicated teachers at each of our school sites. I have seen the good people of Glendora volunteer in the classrooms, fund construction bonds for our schools and raise money through the FGUS Foundation; filling funding voids that have grown larger each year. I attended Glendora schools and then watched as my four children grew academically in the classroom and out of the classroom in the fine extracurricular programs available at Glendora High School. With my fellow Board members, I have seen our challenges change from year to year. Regardless of the challenges faced, the GUSD Board has remained focused on raising the quality of education of Glendora's Schools. I will continue this tradition of excellence and work to raise the achievement bar even higher. Keep this Board together because we work well together! I ask for your vote on November 8th.
