  • Occupation: Community Volunteer
  • Following 20 years in the workforce including work in the Entertainment Industry, Broadcasting, and Finance, I am now an Active Community Volunteer.
  • Proud full-time mother of one son attending Westside School District Middle School.
  • Married 25 years to Craig Petersen.
  • Seven years volunteering at Experanza Elementary, PTA chair for Honors, JetHawks reading program, & Volunteer GATE Coordinator.
  • Seven years volunteering as Team Mom for my son's baseball, basketball, & soccer teams.
  • Member of Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television & Radio, Palmdale United Methodist Church, PTSA, & AARP.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Respond to: need for basic school supplies, increased accountability, and elimination of wasteful spending.
  • Represent the best interest of children, parents, teachers, staff, & the community by getting answers and generating action.
  • Respect, Listen, & Encourage input from parents, teachers,staff, & community regarding their concerns and share them with my fellow board members.
