I am presently working with the Ohio Department Of Natural Resources to apply for a grant for small boat, canoe and kayak access to the Miami River.Rivers Unlimited and ODNR have both felt that a ramp to the Miami River from our park is needed. We have a prime location for this ramp and can utilize our park that has a lot more potential than just dry land sports. This access will also benefit a need of our Fire and Police. Search and Rescue shall have a much needed entrance to this river. I am hoping to complete this application which is due in April. We had many details worked out and solutions made. |
