This information is provided by the candidate
Three of my grandparents came to the United States in the early part of the 20th century from Europe. I believe immigrants contribute to the strength of our country. My father was a union carpenter and my husband is a union sound technician. I believe in unions because they protect workers. My daughter attends public school in the Glendale Unified School District. I believe public schools can be positive and integral institutions in communities. I have worked for 30 years and continue to work as an occupational therapist with children with developmental disabilities and their families. I believe people with disabilities have rights and deserve society's support.
Currently a member of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party Central Committee for almost 2 years, I have been serving as the Secretary for Assembly District 59. I have also served on the Ballot Measures Committee. With redistricting I am now in Assembly District 43. I'm involved in my local club, the Canada Crescenta Democratic Club and belong to several other Democratic clubs. I have volunteered at phone banks and walked neighborhoods for Democratic candidates.
