This information is provided by the candidate
I'm going to start with a statement you may instinctively reject, but please read on. Here goes:
Political philosophy is irrelevant to your choice for a candidate for the county central committee.
Have you recovered yet?
Here is why. It is not the job of the county central committee to establish the party's philosophy or or positions on various issues. That is your job, which you do by choosing the candidates you agree with, and the job of the State Central Committee and the Republican National Committee. The job of the county central commtittee is to build the Republican Party by registering Republican voters, help our candidates win votes and get elected, and to help them raise money.
In other words, the candidate you want is someone who knows how to do those things and who doesn't waste time on battles over ideology which are simply pointless because he can't influence those things any more than you can. You want a political technician.
That's me.
