Jimmie Woods-Gray

I am a graduate of California Public Higher Education institutions. I received my Master degree from Pepperdine University.

I was a teacher in LAUSD for 46 years. I taught at 24th Street School for 32 years. I am presently retired from teaching.

I am a past chairperson of Los Angeles County Democratic Central Committee. I have served on several LA city Commissions.

I am a member of Democratics for Israel, Los Angeles African American Women's PAC, New Frontier Democratic Club, Culver City Democratic Club, and Stonewall Democratic Club.

I am active in professional organizations: UTLA-R, CTA-R, and NEA-R.

I am an elected Delegate from the 37th CD to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina in September 2012.
