Since the day I was sworn in, I have devoted my time on the Board of Supervisors to listening to your needs + and striving to make county government as responsive, transparent and effective as possible. I have earned a reputation as someone who does my homework, asks questions, listens to all sides of an issue, and then makes decisions that I believe are best for the community at large.

In order to jump start our economy and solve the problems we face, we need to make choices that are smart, thoughtful and balanced, not based on fear or favoritetism. This is the kind of leadership I bring to the Board. With your involvement, together, we are changing the way Monterey County does business.
