The Santa Clara County Bar Association.
The SCCBA has approximately 3,000 attorney members, and also includes all state and federal judges in the County. It held a two-week endorsement plebiscite in March, 2012 in which over 1,100 members cast ballots. The plebiscite results were released on March 29. Chris was the top vote-getter in the plebiscite, receiving a majority of the "qualified" votes cast for the three candidates for Office No. 5. He also received the highest proportion of voters naming him "qualified" of any of the twelve contesting candidates for judge or district attorney in at least the last two years. With this plebiscite result, Chris received the Association's sole endorsement for the Superior Court's Office No. 5 in this election.
