Top Priorities if Elected |
- Creating private sector jobs in California. Thousands of well-paying jobs are lost to other states.
- Reducing regulations, fees and taxes on businesses so they can thrive and revitalize our economy
- Fixing our education system. California is at the bottom of the list. We are not producing our future workforce and industry leaders.

- Why I'm running
-
My life started with a fairytale love affair when I met my husband, a young man from Texas who was working in Iran. We fell in love, got married, and our baby boy was born in Iran. Then our fairytale turned into a nightmare because of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 979. Here is a short version of my story, written in 2008 by Union Tribune columnist, Logan Jenkins.

I have been a part of Carlsbad Success story for the past 22 years. As council members we collaborate and we get the job done. We don't always agree on issues, but we deeply respect each other and we work hard to find common grounds and agreement. I will take this discipline and conviction with me to Sacramento.
