Cost effective and quality education to reach the height of success in a global society.
As State Senator, I will introduce and support legislation that increases support for special education needs and ensure that all federal funding is allocated to these programs to assist local education agencies. As State Senator, I will introduce and support legislation to reduce the number of inefficient programs and streamline our educational system to ensure a brighter future for our youth. As State Senator, I will introduce and support legislation to expand distant learning opportunities in post-secondary education courses to reduce educational costs and eliminate overcrowded classrooms. I believe the lack of quality education is a national security issue which is not beneficial to our children in California. I am committed to supporting cost effective quality education to help our children reach their heights of success in this global economy. I am committed to keeping our children safe which is a challenge in today's schools but this issue must be a top priority. I will support legislation that protects our children's safety in our school systems. I am committed to reducing the number of teen drop-out rates, teen pregnancies, and low academic scores. These are the challenges we face and I will introduce legislation that enhance teacher training programs and address these problems by developing cost effective measurable solutions that work.
