personal involvement in Castro Valley
I entrusted my four children to the Castro Valley Unified School District. Our children attended Proctor, Canyon, Creekside and CVHS. I have been involved in the school district since our oldest's first day. I have been a parent leader, on the school-site council, a PTA officer, chaired the Schools 2000 Committee, many district committees and worked on the school bond campaigns.

I am invested in this community. I worked to restart and was president of the Castro Valley Education Foundation. I've coached soccer, Tball, and softball. I contributed to Scouts, sports leagues and spent years as part of the Community Outreach team.

Castro Valley is my home. I am honored and privileged to be an elected official here to advocate for Castro Valley schools.
