Candidate for
Member City Council; City of Chico

I've had the privilege of living in Chico for 38 years; as a student, managing and operating businesses, and as a business teacher at Chico State. My wife of 17 years and I are raising our two boys here. Chico is a magical place, but it didn't get this way by accident and we need leadership that will protect the future of our unique community. In recent years, our city council has not met the high standards our families and neighborhoods deserve: A safe place to raise a family, an ideal location for business, and a premier place to live.

New leadership is needed to develop responsible plans to keep our city financially secure while prioritizing vital services like public safety. We cannot allow our city to become insolvent, like many other California cities. Promoting local business success and jobs will increase our tax base and make it possible for us to meet our goals without raising taxes.
