 - There has been consistent gains in test scores (11 years in a row) and more students going to 4-year universities since his election.
 - He has raised thousands of dollars for charities including the Heart & Soul Foundation, St. Jude Children's Hospital, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
 - He has experience in the legislative process and with municipal law through his work as a Legislative Analyst for a law firm.
 - While working full-time, he attended East Los Angeles College (ELAC) where he received his Associate of Arts degree.
 - He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from USC, becoming the first in his family to graduate from college.
 - He is a dedicated/hard-working community leader who understands the importance of a good education and sound ethical governance.

Priorities:
- I will ensure that tax dollars are spent on projects needed to keep our water clean and affordable, not on perks for board members.
 - I will commit to policies/projects that conserve, cleanup, & maintain the water we have here so we are less dependent on expensive outside sources.
 - I will fight to ensure that water rates are kept stable and that decisions are made with input from the public - no backroom deals.
