Experience is important! Dick Dietmeier is committed to providing the best water & sewer services for ALL ratepayers.
As a Director for South Coast Water District for 8 years, Dick served as president of the board for 3 consecutive years. In this capacity he has supported, facilitated, and taken head-on critical issues and projects for the District and its Customers. Accomplishments:
  • Initiated televised Board meetings.
  • Championed water conservation & recycled water use
  • Led efforts to diversify water supplies: groundwater; ocean desalination.
  • Supported Zero Sewer Spill policy through preventive maintenance, & capital improvements.
  • Advanced new customer services: monthly billing; online services; automated meter reading. Promoted new revenue sources: RV/Boat Storage for community, now on hold.
  • Advocated organizational efficiency, cost control and financial stability of the District
