We have known Ken Peterson for 4 years. He is a man of true integrity. He coached our son in soccer and we can say in all sincerity that he is a wonderful, caring, upstanding person. There is no doubt he would be an asset to our Yorba Linda government! If he runs our city government as efficiently and passionately as he does his business and coaching duties, we all win!
Louie Gonzalez:
I, Louie Gonzales, personally know Mr. Peterson as a good citizen, great father, caring friend, for over ten years, I had the pleasure to help him coach in soccer sports for over some years, and had very good times. Also known him personally for doing some work on his properties as a contractor. He has assisted me on his professional level. Very skilled and talented in his profession. Always very friendly and very caring and helpful to his community.
Chris & Christine Gowins:
Ken Peterson is firmly rooted in Yorba Linda and invested in ensuring that our community maintains the aspects that make it so special. His many years of volunteering as a coach for various sports exemplifies a commitment to his family, Yorba Linda's great sports programs and Ken's work ethic. As a business man his integrity is above reproach and he can be counted on to follow through on issues important to our community. We support Ken for Yorba Linda City Council!
Chris Johansen:
Ken is a man of integrity and honesty. He is dedicated and generous to the community of Yorba Linda by volunteering in various manners through the sports, school and scout programs for the last 15 years that I have known him. He has always demonstrated care and concern for the Yorba Linda community in various ways. Ken is always ready to listen and help others. I strongly endorse Ken for City Council because of his outstanding qualifications.
Maureen A. Hatchell Levine:
I have been a Yorba Linda resident for 25 years and am an Attorney who has worked for Kennith Peterson for 19 years. Through this time I have observed Ken's moral and ethics to be outstanding. I have also observed him many times helping those in need, including desperate clients who could not afford to pay for legal representation and his employees including car repairs, urgent home repairs, and accommodating employees personal needs. Ken has also coached my two children in sports. I believe that Ken's beliefs and principles are fully aligned with Yorba Linda's tradition of honesty, integrity, generosity, and transparency, and that he is committed to promoting open space and equestrian and other recreational interests. I support his candidacy for Yorba Linda's City Council.
Phil Mangiaracina:
The negativity pervading the city council needs to stop, and Ken Peterson is the perfect man to usher in a new era. He is smart, hard-working, honest, and caring and will come to his own conclusions. Even when he disagrees with council issues, I am confident that he will do so in a positive and intelligent way. Simply put: I trust Ken Peterson and you should too.
Jeff & Regina Matthews
We first met Ken Peterson and his family at a local Yorba Linda church in 2000 and to this day consider them the finest friends anyone could ever want. In that time frame we have been involved with the Petersons in local organizations for scouting and soccer, and have had firsthand opportunities to observe their community service and civic support. Truly gracious in the land of gracious living. Ken is a man of the highest integrity and principles, but it is his keen intellect and common sense that makes him our first choice for city leadership. On many occasions I can recall social gatherings where conversation turned to knotty local civic issues and Ken would provide perspective and frame the issues based on firm principles. In addition, Ken would offer unique insights and explore the various points of view before coming up with possible solutions. People value his judgment. My wife and I are proud to endorse his candidacy for Yorba Linda City Council this November.
Jeff & Lori McHugh
Our family has known Ken Peterson for 13 years. He was my daughters soccer coach and my sons little league coach and always demonstrated a cool even demeanor as well as being an encourager to his players. An unselfish man who loves God, lives by Godly principles and is always one to bend over backwards for anyone that needs his help. Ken gives his all to anyone or organization and Yorba Linda would be very fortunate to have him as a public servant.
Elizabeth Peterson:
Ken Peterson is the best choice for Yorba Linda City Council. Besides his over qualifying credentials and numerous community involvements, his outstanding commitment to others, integrity, and honesty put him a cut above the rest. As one of his four children, I have seen firsthand over the years the sacrifices this man will make for those he cares about and loves. From his example, I have learned over the years that kindness begets kindness and that living our lives the way God wishes us to in service and in helping others is very rewarding. I have also learned to never give up on your goals in life and that perseverance pays off in the end. My father has always made me proud to be his daughter just as I hope that I always make him proud to be my father. As a young girl, having your father as your coach of the team was always something to brag about. It wasn't the status of being a coach's daughter, however, that I boasted to my friends. I was proud that my dad wasn't the type of coach to punish someone for missing a play or not paying attention. I knew that I could hold my head up high, because my dad would stop to encourage those who needed guidance and instill confidence in those who doubted themselves. My dad is truly a genuine person not looking for any self-gain when running for this election. He wants to help better our community and continue doing for others as he has always done. As community members we sometimes forget the people who are elected or running are regular people too. My father loves our community and is committed to strengthening it. I love my father and will vote for him this coming election as I hope others will do too.
Heather Reekstin:
Ken always demonstrated the highest level of integrity when coaching sports. He believed in fairness and building self-esteem rather than just "winning" the game. I support Kennith Peterson for City Council because I believe he will look at every issue with this same sense of fairness and integrity.
Dean & Christine Richens:
We have known Kenneth Peterson for about 16 years. He was first our neighbor, and then our friend. He is a family man, who always sets the best example for his children and the people around him. Throughout the past 16 years, our family grew to enjoy his honest, optimistic, and generous nature. Ken is one of the most intelligent, yet genuine people we have ever met. If ever there was a need, Ken was there to help. He is the type of person who would give anyone, even a stranger, the shirt off his back. Several times our family needed help, and Ken was there for us. He volunteers his time considerably, even though he runs his own law firm. Ken is organized, efficient and extremely competent. He has an amazing rapport with everyone he comes in contact with. Our family is honored to know Kenneth Peterson, and we trust him with every inch of our fiber.
Cheri Roskamp:
I have known Ken Peterson for 15 years. He is an honest, hard-working, and decent man and will be a wonderful city councilman.
Randy Weiss:
Ken Peterson is what the city of Yorba Linda needs. Ken has raised his family, ran a business and given countless hours back to the community of Yorba Linda through his business as well as countless hours of time to children athletes of the community coaching soccer, basketball, softball and baseball. Ken has spent years teaching young children, adolescent children, young adults and parents what it means to be a calm and collected at all times no matter how good or how bad a situation may be. Ken teaches that there was more to life than winning or losing. He showed that there is always another day and another challenge and that your approach to that day and those challenges is more important than anything. Ken carries his head high as he should. He is a honest man who believes in honor and dignity before self growth and self worth. He is a man that will give to his fellow man before he takes for himself. Ken is a great father, husband and friend, but most importantly he is a great man to all of those that cross his path. I am fortunate to have known Ken for 8 plus years and am a better person because of it.
