Education and Qualifications:
Santa Clara County has been my home for over thirty years. As a resident who has served as a Public Works professional at both the local and regional level, and as a community leader, I know the complexities involved with managing our water resources. It's a challenge to deliver an adequate water supply, promote environmental stewardship and protect our community from floods. I believe I am the candidate most qualified to meet that challenge.

I have a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and over 30 years of professional experience. The expertise that I have developed as an engineer and my track record of working with the community are assets that I will use as a Water District Board Member. Like other women candidates who came before me, I am stepping forward because I am committed to using my skills to solve the water problems in our County.

My goal is to transform the Water District into a cost-effective and transparent Public Agency. I will work with my fellow Board Members to set clear priorities and fiscally responsible policies. It's time the Water District gets back to business and with your help I can make that happen.
