Education and Qualifications:
I am a long time resident of Milpitas for over forty years. I have two adult children and three grandchildren. I hold a BA degree in Humanities with a focus in education and a former Milpitas School Board Trustee.

I have a proven tract record in leadership and a passion for serving our community. I will work towards finding solutions by analyzing the city budget and bring about transparency and accountability.

It is important to provide a safe, clean and green environment to live and work. I am committed to maintain quality city services without raising costs. I will work with local transit agencies including BART and work towards a strong economy by promoting business growth to create jobs.

Currently I serve on the Library and County First 5 Commissions. As a former Planning, Parks and Recreation Commissioner I also served on advisory committees for Open Space Authority and Flood Control. I am a recipient of the Dr Martin Luther King Good Neighbor, Portraits of Success awards, and Police & Community recognition.
