Education and Qualifications:
I am seeking reelection to the Board of Trustees with a sincere desire to continue serving the Evergreen community. As a businessman and active community member, I am committed to ensuring that Evergreen schools are clean, safe places for learning and that our students continue to achieve at the highest levels. I have a deep respect for our community. As a naturalized citizen, I have a unique understanding of the needs of families from other parts of the world.

During my tenure, the district has achieved an API ranking of 882 and the average school API growth is 43.5 points; earned Riverside County Office of Education recognition as the 10th best school district for English Learners; had ten schools receive academic excellence awards; maintained fiscal accountability by making difficult budget reductions; modernized facilities, including building the state's first "zero net energy" school building; undergone extensive facilities improvement projects to ensure that our schools are clean, safe, and conducive to student learning.

I look forward to continuing my work to keep Evergreen a model school district by advocating for reducing operating costs through enhanced energy efficiency and supporting 21st Century education programs such as those at Bulldog Tech and Katherine Smith.
