Patient, Staff, and Physician Satisfaction

I will continue working for workplace satisfaction that promotes professional growth and satisfying, respectful personal interaction that will ultimately lead to high patient satisfaction.

Respectful partnering of physicians and staff allow clearer and more comprehensive patient interaction. When physicians and staff are respectful, with good communication skills to improve collaboration, patients receive better communication from both parties, and are better able to understand their care, their tests and prodecures, and their follow-up post-discharge instructions.

Our physicans and staff need our respect and our support, as well as opportunities to learn and grow, to provide them with job satisfaction. This in turn encourages them to provide the same respect and support to their patients - happy staff make for happy patients!

As Quality Chair, I will continue to endorse programs that facilitate this growth, which, in addition to promoting patient satisfaction, encourages staff retention and growth to new jobs within the organization - hire them, teach them, recognize and reward them, and keep them!
