Vote Kirstin A. Holtberg because.........

• I believe I'm the best person to help keep our district fiscally solvent while making sure Linden Students, have the opportunity to experience a diverse curriculum, have access to the finest educational programs, and are safe at all times. I don't want to see any more budget cuts directly affect students or their parents.

• My words and actions have proven that I'm a person of integrity. I'll carry these ideals into office, which will guide me in making decisions for the good of the entire district, and help build the morale within LUSD, resulting in improved performance and behavior of students and staff.

• I believe I can help regain the community & staff's trust & respect of the Linden School Board.

1) TO SURVIVE BUDGET CUTS

Raise $, save $, spend prudently, eliminate waste, make the hard decisions in order to keep the district solvent.

2)TO IMPROVE DISTRICT MORALE, TRUST & RESPECT

I will emphasize..........

a) The value of public input, by making changes to meeting protocol and encourage input from the public.

b) Communication from Trustees & Administration to staff, parents, and the general public.

c) Positive & friendly attitude in dealing with staff, students, & parents.

d) Encouragement of a strong school culture at each school site.

e) Inclusion of staff in decision making processes.
