About Armond Aghakhanian
A product of public education, Armond earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Woodbury University and his Bachelors of Art in Political Science from California State University, Northridge. He is currently a Doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
Armond is a Professor at Woodbury University (Burbank), where for the past five years he has been teaching courses in business, management, organizational leadership and government, including business courses to Burbank High School "Finance Club" students. Furthermore, he has also taught business and management courses at several other educational institutions, including: Marymount College, International American University and the Salvation Army College for Officer Training at Crestmont. While teaching at Marymount, he helped create the advisory board for Marymount's first bio-diesel project and established the school's first volunteer based leadership group. Previously, Armond served the people of California for over eight years, working for then-Majority Leader Dario Frommer in the California State Legislature. He represented the communities of Burbank, Glendale, and the City of Los Angeles. Furthermore, he worked for CA State Assembly Speaker's office of Member Services. Armond has extended experience in the private sector, where he held several top management positions.
As a son of a former public school teacher, Armond is fortunate enough to be raised in a family that upholds the values of education and public service. This has led to a lifelong commitment to community service.
