Candidate for
Council Member; City of Fort Bragg

I plan to participate with the City Council as a part of a team and to continue the informed and respectful participation in city council matters. I feel that I bring to the city council a unique perspective, as an informed observer over the last 16 years. As the president of the California Nurse-Midwives association and then as wife to a concil member and former Mayor of Fort Bragg, I have a working relationship with elected official in Fort Bragg, County of Mendocino and also at the State and Federal levels. I will work hard. I feel that I am diligent, well organized and willing to listen.

My priorities for the city council:
1. Seek and encourage businesses that will provide jobs
2. Support the Fort Bragg Police department and find the funds to provide the staffing to insure that Fort Bragg is a safe and protected community.
3. Continue to lobby to save the Ten Mile Court
4. Continue the efforts of the last decade to begin the development of the "GP" properties
5. Revitilize the "downtown"
