I have been a Republican voter since I have been able to cast a ballot. My reasons for voting with the Republican Party have centered around my belief that fair taxes, fiscal responsibility and well-managed public services will enhnace a community and will spur the development of both cultural and business activities. Academic education supercedes all other issues in that a well-informed and literate constituency will produce the best environment in which all of us want to participate, as citizens. Lastly, I want to live in a community which is open to new ideas while being respectful of founding principles and human values. My concern for work/life balance and fair-trade commerce makes me ever-vigilant to outside intervention within local concerns. With a vision of continuous improvement, I am encouraged to embrace the possibility of a better future for us all.
