Governing Board Member; El Rancho Unified School District

As an award -winning educator, I have dedicated my career to helping students achieve their maximum potential. As a parent there is nothing I care about more than ensuring our schools provide a quality education that prepares children for a successful future. I am the only candidate that is both a teacher and parent and I intend to bring that voice to the school board.

I live in Pico Rivera with my wife, Janet, and our two children. Janet is a credentialed academic counselor. Our 2 year-old daughter, Maya, will one day attend Magee Elementary School. Our 13 year-old son, Jose Jr., attends Burke Middle School where he participates in the Chess Club and Academic Decathlon. He also plays Junior All-American Football with the Pico Rivera Dons.
