• Work to develop community ownership and active participation in our school system

• Encourage consistent and conscientious parent participation in our children's education

• Effectively Implement Common Core curriculum guidelines

• Revitalize music and art programs at all levels

• Determine ways to better engage low achieving students in a successful learning experience

• Complete construction and facilities modification projects at all school sites

• Continue to seek out appropriate funding mechanisms to meet facilities needs as outlined in the SGUSD Facilities Master Plan
