Candidate for
Board Member; Point Arena Joint Union High School District

I am a retired administrator. I have been in a business administrative position for over 45 years both in the medical and educational fields.

I have been a resident in our small coastal community for 12 years. Since arriving to the Point Arena area I have participated and served on many interest groups i.e., North Coast Artists Guild, Soroptimist Women's Organization, Irish Beach Improvement Club, Concerned Citizens of Irish Beach.

Currently, I am participating in the reading program at the Manchester Elementary School.

Also, I sit on a board for the Across Ages and Cultures Prevention Coalition (AAC). The AAC Mission: to establish and strengthen collaboration to support the efforts of community sectors working to prevent and reduce substance use among youth. This is coalition is headed up by Action Network, a non-profit community organization.

For the past six year I have attended the Point Arena School Board Meetings on a regular basis.
