The fact that we operate with a deficit even with additional taxes from measure F is disconcerting. I would work to identify new sources of revenue in the form of increased, not additional, sales taxes and property taxes thru the promotion of businesses in our community and the careful and constrained building of homes, businesses and industries that reflect the scale and character of our community. At the same time all spending must come in line with the revenues we have on hand. |
