Education and Qualifications:
My wife and I have been residents of Sunnyvale for 22 years. We plan to spend the rest of our lives here, so we have a lot invested in the future of Sunnyvale.

I am running for City Council because Sunnyvale needs elected officials who will stand up to special interest groups and address the challenges we face, such as: 1) increasing employee costs that threaten City services, including pension obligations of $30 million per year; 2) insufficient Public Safety staffing levels as the City faces rising crime; and 3) continual high-density development that frequently exceeds the General Plan and threatens to overwhelm our roads, schools, parks and quality of life.

I will not accept endorsements or campaign contributions from either city employee unions or real estate developers. I will remain independent of special interest influences and will represent only the citizens of Sunnyvale. By voting for me on November 5, you will be protecting the future of Sunnyvale.
