Road Maintenance and Safety is a priority and I will work hand in hand with Public Works.Road Maintenance: I will monitor and work with the Public Works department to make sure there is continued improvement in our roads and to evaluate the road impact fees as our town continues its growth in development so that the funds which were allocated for road maintenance and resurfacing are utilized to their fullest. Safety I will promote a green initiative to access Federal and State funds for the installation of non-intrusive, aesthetically pleasing and environmentally safe lighting which would be part of the Master plan, in order to allow for safe passage of our residents and school children returning from evening activities and a deterrent for crime. |
