Candidate for
Board Member; San Carlos School District

I am married with 2 children. Both of my daughters attend Heather Elementary School. I am a member of the California State Bar Association, the San Mateo County Bar Association and the Heather School PTA.

I have been a resident of San Carlos since 2011. My family chose San Carlos for its small-town charm and excellent schools. Prior to finding the right home in San Carlos, we lived in nearby Redwood Shores for two years. We are proud to be part of the robust and diverse community of families that support local public education.

I am running for school board because I strongly believe in the public process. When I learned that the November election of three board members would take place only if four or more candidates entered the race, I decided to put my belief into action. I am determined to give the public the power to decide who will be on the school board.

I am also dedicated to improving our district's commitment to compliance, accountability and transparency. I believe our district can continue to innovate and prepare for the future while maintaining high standards of professionalism and respect for all stakeholders.
