I am deeply grateful to the outstanding group of community leaders who support my campaign to serve another term on the Sequoia Union High School District governing board. Thank you for your confidence in my service and leadership of our schools. NEWSPAPER ENDORSEMENTS The Almanac decides, "this is not a time to install a new person on the Sequoia board. We recommend voters return Alan Sarver and Chris Thomsen to four-year terms on the Sequoia Union High School District board." The San Mateo Daily Journal endorses, saying "Sarver and Thomsen have proven worthy in their ability to do such lifting in the past four years. Both have a sense of the philosophy behind education and applying that philosophy to everyday situations that don't necessarily align themselves with theory. They also have a tremendous grasp of the unique challenges -- both fiscal or otherwise -- of the district with its four traditional high schools, continuation school, adult school and charter schools." The Daily News encourages readers to re-elect Chris Thomsen. "A lot has happened in the Sequoia Union High School District the past few years... The Daily News believes Sarver and Thomsen should be given second terms to continue working on these issues." ENDORSEMENTS FROM LEADERS IN EDUCATION AND GOVERNMENT Congresswoman Anna G.
