  • Director and Chair of the Sonoma County Water Agency
  • Director and Chair of the Sonoma County Agriculture Preservation and Open Space District
  • Trustee of the Sonoma County Employees' Retirement System
  • Director and Vice Chair of the Sonoma County Transportation Authority
  • Director and Vice Chair of the Regional Climate Protection Authority
  • Director, Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit
  • Director, Golden Gate Bridge Highway Transportation District
  • Chair, Building and Operating Committee
  • Chair, North Bay Water Reuse Program
  • Vice President, Association of Bay Area Governments
  • Member, Joint Policy Committee
  • Commissioner, State Seismic Safety Commission (Governor appointee)
  • Director, Building Economic Success Together
  • Co-Chair, California State Association of Counties, Working Group on Tribal Gaming and Intergovernmental Affairs.

These are my current roles and responsibilities- you can see, in a great many of them, I have a leadership role. This includes being the first Sonoma County Supervisor in 59 years to serve consecutive years as Chair of the Board.
